Catra has sharp catlike claws that are capable of climbing difficult to reach surfaces. Her arms have five ruby-red-brown semicircles (three on each upper arm and 2 on each forearm). She has a reddish-brown helmet in the shape of a true cat's head that covers from just higher up her forehead to the centre of her cheeks just under her eyes. Catra also wears a t-shirt that is crimson-brownish on the pinnacle half and creates a v-shape in the eye of the chest, where a black line separates the superlative from the lesser, which is a scarlet-orange color. She has Camelot colored leggings with ii holes on the thighs of each leg, a pigsty at both knees, both heels and the toes; exposing her sharp and blackness toenails.
Personality
Catra is a rebellious and charismatic character, axiomatic when she sneaks out with Adora into the Whispering Woods riding the Skiff they stole. When she doesn't get forth with someone she tends to work against them and holds a grudge. Other forms of her rebellious beliefs include her beingness consistently late for training sessions and showing upwards at the last infinitesimal. Throughout season one, Catra has done things her way (fifty-fifty when post-obit orders) in society to get what she wants. When she figures out that with Adora having defected from The Horde, she gets to go Force Captain and evidence that she was never Adora'south sidekick. Her and Shadow Weaver go dorsum and forth at one another over what to do about Adora, until Lord Hordak finally finds out about what Shadow Weaver has been doing behind his back and makes Catra his second-in-command.
Her charismatic side comes out when she knows it will benefit her; like when she manipulated Entrapta into believing that the others don't care well-nigh her and never intended on coming back to rescue her, causing her to think her friends abandoned her. Or when she manipulated Scorpia by showing empathy to her situation, even though she was more referring to herself when talking most how the other princesses treated her and her family. Her and Scorpia were the same rank at the time they were forced to work together, but Scorpia sees her equally more of a leader than an equal.
Despite making some rash decisions throughout the series, she'due south a rather collected and quick-witted villain; making it easier for her to go her missions done right (kidnapping Bow and Glimmer and stealing the Sword of Protection in one well timed assault at the princess prom, for example.) She's done better when doing things her own way, rather than blindly post-obit her orders to the letter. At the princess prom in Frosta'south castle, Catra knew how to play by the rules in order to make Adora seem like she was interim unfair and out of command, stay calm and human action nonchalant about being surrounded by all the princesses she was planning on attacking, all the while, figuring out a style to kidnap Bow and Glimmer and get Adora'southward sword at the right moment.
Throughout season one, Catra and Adora relationship goes from all-time friends to mortal enemies. Catra slowly starts to realize that with her out of the picture, she'south able to succeed and rise to the top of The Horde. During the first half of season one, the two of them will fight, simply save 1 another from certain decease (typically falling off of a cliff) by grabbing the other at the last second. This stops when Catra tells Adora that she wonders where she'd be if she had never been around in the beginning place. She blames her for not being more than successful in The horde and leaves her behind hanging on a cliff that she tossed her sword into.
Relationships
Adora
Catra grew upwards with Adora and the two of them became very close. After Adora found the "Sword of Protection" in the Whispering Woods later on she and Adora stole a Horde Skiff, she defected from the Horde to join the Princess Alliance due to witnessing the destruction he Horde was causing throughout Etheria. Because of this defection, Catra swore revenge against Adora for leaving her behind in the Horde, and the two of them fought on reverse sides of the war for three years.
After existence rescued by Adora and the others in "Relieve The Cat", Catra defected from the Horde and became a voluntary fellow member of the Princess Brotherhood and Rebellion trying to take down Horde Prime number.
In the episode "The Center pt 2", she confesses her love for Adora before kissing her. "Don't you become information technology? I dear you! I always have! And so please, just this one time, stay!"
Bow
Catra and Bow currently get along, but their initial friendship started out rocky. Catra and Bow commencement spoke afterwards Catra was taken prisoner by himself and Glimmer. After a day'southward worth of hijinx, Bow referred to Catra equally "the person who threw him off of a cliff once." And from there on, they only knew one another through combat.
After helping Adora and Glimmer rescue her in "Save the Cat", Bow slowly started to warm upwardly to Catra. He later poked fun at Catra'southward cat-like features such as her ears and tail, just thankfully Catra knows its all in good fun. After Bow dubs Catra a new fellow member of the "Best Friends Squad".
Entrapta
Entrapta came into The Fright Zone on a mission to salve Bow and Blink with the Princess Alliance. She meets Catra (when the others believe her to have been killed during the rescue mission) after she falls out of a pipe. Entrapta explains that she was but at that place because she figured it would be easier for the others to find her if she didn't motility around to much. Catra manipulates her into thinking that the others must not care virtually her since they haven't come back to rescue her. Entrapta realizes that they haven't come up back and informally joins The Horde by helping them with technology advocacy.
Glimmer
Catra made sure to capture Glimmer when they were at the princess prom. The bespeak of her capture was to try and get data out of her and make a trade deal with Glimmer'south mother (Angella); that she was to turn herself in, so Glimmer could be set complimentary.
The Horde
Catra has a beloved/hate relationship with The Horde as a whole. She wants nil more than to lead The Horde to victory, simply she besides wants to exist the leader when it happens. Catra doesn't get along with a couple of the members (Lonnie and Shadow Weaver), but however works with them in gild to achieve a mutual goal. When information technology comes down to information technology though, she is working for herself.
Kyle
Catra grew up with Kyle and the others in The Fearfulness Zone. She never has a personal problem with him, but sees him more every bit a minion in her coiffure. When Catra becomes Force Helm, he congratulates her on her promotion while Lonnie stares at her in outrage and disbelief.
Lonnie
Catra and Lonnie accept always been at each other'due south throats since they were children. When Adora defects from The Horde, Lonnie takes advantage of this to personally set on Catra past telling her that Adora isn't around to protect her anymore. One time Catra begins to realize that she tin become the new leader of the group with Adora out of the fashion and becomes Force Helm, she flaunts it in Lonnie'due south face up. Lonnie soon after doesn't seem to concur a verbal grudge when they attack Salineas.
Lord Hordak
Catra doesn't seem to know much about Lord Hordak or his motives to taking over Etheria, just she has used him to her total advantage in order to get to second-in-command; taking over Shadow Weaver.
Octavia
The only interaction we've seen with Catra and Octavia is when she hit Catra because she fabricated fun of her and scratched her. Adora grabbed Catra after consoling her and took her to where Octavia was to tell her she's a "dumb face". Octavia gain to scream and chase them.
The Princess Brotherhood/The Rebellion
Catra has made enemies with both alliances for both being in The Horde and capturing members of their alliances. The leaders experience that she is one of their biggest threats to harmony.
Rogelio
Rogelio is neutral toward Catra. Even when she got promoted to Force Captain, he didn't testify too much emotion or say anything like Kyle and Lonnie did.
Scorpia
Scorpia instantly took a liking to Catra the moment they were forced to work together on a mission to destroy Salineas and capture Adora and become her to rejoin. Scorpia sees her as both her best friend and a great leader; oftentimes following along with anything she says.
Shadow Weaver
It'southward unclear what Catra'southward origin story into The Horde is, simply ever since she was a child, Shadow Weaver has hated her and makes it well known that Adora is her favorite. When Adora defected from The Horde entirely, Catra is made Forcefulness Captain which Shadow Weaver denies by making Catra's first mission to find Adora and bring her back. She wants nothing more than than to accept Adora past her side; even going against Lord Hordak's orders to forget most her and motility on.
